One boy's protest against the almighty binary digit via poetry and typewriters.
i'm so glad you're doing this again. these pieces inspire me so much that i've been looking on e-bay for a typewriter. but that shall remain among the fantasies, along with being a keeper of the faith marooned on a pacific island, my most precious possessions being a typewriter which due to corrosion can't offer upper-case letters any more, a ream of not totally sea-water-ruined paper, and three crates of good beer in bottles - and most of all, a vast expanse of free time. every day i drink a beer, compose one of these pieces, seal it in the empty bottle and fling it out to sea.
