 I don't know what's up with me. I go 25 years with out writing any prose, and I've written about a dozen short stories since in the last six months.  Here's another one.

a little science fiction ditty for you to read

I had a dream I was on a futuristic "steam-punk"-like B-29 Superfortress. I woke up and wrote a short story about it. I did some major revisions and then I revised that draft even more to make it fit right under the 1000 word level(it's called "flash fiction" apparently). I'm pretty happy with what I ended up with, though it has very little resemblance to the original dream/draft.
